This policy explains what personal data the SnS website collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. It is written to be read, not skimmed past. If anything is unclear, write to contact@mysns.co.
1. Who we are
SnS (Shakti & Shama) is a product operated by its founding team, based in India. SnS is not yet an incorporated company. When SnS incorporates, this page will be updated with the entity’s legal name and registered address.
For the purposes of this policy, the founding team of SnS is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at contact@mysns.co.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the website at www.mysns.co and the schedule-a-call flow on it. It covers you as a visitor, or as someone who asks us for a call.
The SnS product itself is governed by the agreement signed with each customer organisation. Personal data inside the product is processed on that organisation’s instructions and is not covered by this policy.
3. What we collect
We collect only what the site needs to work and to answer you:
- Schedule-a-call form: your email address, the company name if you choose to give it, and the time you submitted the form.
- Booking on Cal.com: the name, email, notes and time slot you enter when you pick a time. Cal.com collects this under its own terms; we receive the booking details.
- Correspondence: anything you send us by email, and our replies.
- Website analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. It stores nothing on your device, does not fingerprint you, and gives us aggregate figures only: page views, referrers, country and browser type. Because we use no cookies for tracking, this site shows no cookie banner.
- Hosting logs: our hosting provider keeps standard security logs, which include your IP address, user agent and request timestamps.
4. Why we use it, and the legal basis
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Arranging the call you asked for (Article 6(1)(b): steps taken at your request before entering into a contract).
- Replying to your messages (Article 6(1)(f): our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us).
- Understanding how the site is used and keeping it secure (Article 6(1)(f): our legitimate interest in running a working, safe website).
- Complying with the law (Article 6(1)(c)) where a legal obligation requires it.
We do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
Our providers operate in the United States and elsewhere, so your data may be stored or processed outside the country you live in. Where a transfer leaves the EU, the UK or another jurisdiction with transfer rules, it relies on the provider’s standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
The founding team accesses this data from India, where it is based.
7. How long we keep it
- Call requests and correspondence: up to 24 months after our last exchange with you, then deleted, unless a customer agreement with your organisation applies and sets a different period.
- Analytics: aggregate only. There is no per-person record to keep or delete.
- Hosting logs: kept for the provider’s short default retention period and then discarded.
8. Your rights
If you are in the EU or the UK (GDPR and UK GDPR): you can ask for access to your personal data, for it to be corrected or erased, for its processing to be restricted, and for a copy in a portable format. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw any consent you have given. You can also complain to your supervisory authority. We answer requests within one month.
If you are in India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023): you can ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed, ask for it to be corrected or erased, raise a grievance with us, and nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf. Grievances go to contact@mysns.co, and the founding team handles them directly.
If you are in California: you can ask what personal information we have collected, ask for it to be deleted or corrected, and opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@mysns.co from the address you want us to act on. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting.
9. Security
Data moves between your browser and our providers over TLS. Access to form submissions and correspondence is limited to the founding team. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we do not claim any security certification for this website.
10. Children
This website is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, write to contact@mysns.co and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we post the new version here with a new date at the top. If a change is material, we say so plainly at the top of the page for a period after it takes effect.
12. Contact
Questions, requests and complaints about personal data go to contact@mysns.co. Please put “Privacy” in the subject line so we see it quickly.
